Regular Season Round 8: Start Lublin - Sportino 80-61

Bottom-ranked Sportino (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 80-61 loss to twelfth ranked Olimp MKS Start Lublin (3-5) in Lublin. Sportino was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Olimp MKS Start Lublin forced 19 Sportino turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Forward Pawel Kowalski (197-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points. Sportino at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Olimp MKS Start Lublin will play against higher ranked Spojnia (#4) in Stargard in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sportino will play at home against MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
