There was a surprise result in Torres Vedras where ninth ranked Angrabasket (2-3) defeated higher ranked Fisica (2-3) 78-70. Fisica was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Angrabasket dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Fisica's 32. Angrabasket forced 19 Fisica turnovers. American guard Drew Gibson (188-85, college: Wofford) nailed 31 points and 4 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import power forward Terrence Mack (198-84, college: Rhode Island) accounted for 16 points and 14 rebounds.
