There was no surprise when 11th ranked Sanda Basket (1-7) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Solna Branten (3-5) 61-52 on Saturday. Sanda Basket trailed by 16 points at halftime and as many as 19 after three quarters before a 16-6 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 52-61 at the end of the game. Solna Branten dominated on the defensive end, holding Sanda Basket to just 4 points in first quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Jesper Eliassson (-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and Tim Ljunggren who added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Solna Branten's coach let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. Guard Adrian Thorangen (195-93) responded with 26 points and forward Johan Ganstrand (192-93) scored 14 points.
