Very expected game when 11th ranked CB Granada (4-7) was defeated at home by second ranked Lleida Basquet (9-2) 71-57 on Friday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Lleida Basquet's pressure prevailed and they won that period 23-12 extending their advantage to 14 points. The best player for the winners was American-Croatian guard Marcus Norris (185-74, college: Ball St., agency: SportsTalent) who scored 18 points. American-Austrian guard Jason Detrick (198-80, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 18 points. Power forward Jose Manuel Coego (204-78) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and the former international center Jesus Fernandez (204-75) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
