Very predictable result when third ranked BK Prostejov (12-2) smashed on the road 11th ranked BK Loko Plzen (5-10) 100-64. The game without a history. BK Prostejov led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to BK Loko Plzen's 36. BK Prostejov had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Lithuanian guard Arvydas Eitutavicius (188-82, college: American) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 5 assists. Slovenian guard Matej Venta (187-84) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four BK Prostejov players scored in double figures. Center Pavel Frana (212-77) came up with 17 points and 5 rebounds and guard Vaclav Honomichl (190-92) added 13 points respectively for BK Loko Plzen in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for BK Prostejov. They moved-up to second place, which they share with BC Kolin. BK Loko Plzen at the other side dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. BK Prostejov will play against league's second-placed BC Kolin at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BK Loko Plzen will play against BK Pardubice (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
