Bottom-ranked Ternopil-TNEU is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to second ranked Avantazh-Politekhnik (10-2) 115-57. The game without a history. Avantazh-Politekhnik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Ternopil-TNEU's 38. They outrebounded Ternopil-TNEU 49-32 including 21 on the offensive glass. Avantazh-Politekhnik players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Forward Anton Rochnyak (206-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and forward Anton Mikhaylov (192-91) chipped in 26 points and 5 rebounds. Five Avantazh-Politekhnik players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Sergyi Teleshko (209-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and center Nikita Lange (202-92) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Avantazh-Politekhnik. They maintain second place with 10-2 record behind leader VolinBasket. Ternopil-TNEU lost their twelfth game in a row. They still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Avantazh-Politekhnik will play against league's leader VolinBasket in Lutsk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ternopil-TNEU will play on the road against Musson (#3) in Symferopil and hopes to get finally their first victory.
