Undefeated leader USK Praha delivered the thirteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Basket Slovanka MB (7-5) 107-68 in Vodochody. It looked good early as Basket Slovanka MB took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then USK Praha had a 30-17 second period charge getting the lead and Basket Slovanka MB was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-107. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Basket Slovanka MB's 46. USK Praha forced 25 Basket Slovanka MB turnovers. Strangely Basket Slovanka MB outrebounded USK Praha 35-23 including 19 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. USK Praha (13-0) have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 13 victories in a row. Basket Slovanka MB at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. USK Praha will play against Sokol Hradec Kralove (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Basket Slovanka MB will play against VS Praha and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
