The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ruskon-Mordovia won third quarter 28-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ruskon-Mordovia was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Andrey Kirdyachkin (207-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Fedor Klyuchnikov (192-90) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Rjazan's coach Zoran Cvetanovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Alexei Kuznetsov (203-84) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Anton Ageev (192-84) added 22 points in the effort for Ruskon-Mordovia. Five Rjazan and four Ruskon-Mordovia players scored in double figures. Rjazan moved-up to fifth place. Ruskon-Mordovia lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. Rjazan will face bottom-ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (#9) at home in the next round. Ruskon-Mordovia will play against the league's second-placed Ataman in Rostov.
