Superleague top team - Feni Indistrija (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Vardar (3-7) in Skopje 83-65. The winners were led by the former international guard Darko Sokolov (190-86) who scored that evening 23 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and American swingman Jarrid Frye (194-85, college: Sacred Heart) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Feni Indistrija players scored in double figures. Feni Indistrija's coach Emil Rajkovic used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 22 points by guard Darko Radulovic (194-80) did not help to save the game for Vardar. Center Aleksandar Shterjov (206-86) added 13 points and 13 rebounds. Feni Indistrija have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-0 record. Vardar lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. Feni Indistrija will meet MZT Skopje (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Vardar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena Torus Skopje.
