There was a minor upset in Tallinn where 5th ranked TTU/Kalev (4-7) was defeated by seventh ranked KK Parnu (2-8) 88-79 on Sunday. TTU/Kalev trailed by 19 points after 3 quarters before a 28-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 79-88 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of center Toomas Raadik (202-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Taavi Hamarsalu (199-89) who added 14 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four KK Parnu players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) with 24 points and 8 rebounds and American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark St.) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. KK Parnu maintains seventh position with 2-8 record. Loser TTU/Kalev keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Tln Kalev. KK Parnu will meet league's leader Tartu Ulikool on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. TTU/Kalev's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena Tln Kalev.
