The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Skopje: Fersped-Rabotnicki (#6) and MZT Skopje (#3). Fersped-Rabotnicki (4-7) won against visiting MZT Skopje (8-3) 80-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MZT Skopje. The game was mostly controlled by Fersped-Rabotnicki. MZT Skopje managed to win second period 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for guard Jane Petrovski (181-87) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 5 assists. The former international forward Dime Tasovski (200-80) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Fersped-Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. International center Todor Gecevski (209-77, agency: Interperformances) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and guard Ognen Stojanovski (190-85, agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 19 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for MZT Skopje. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fersped-Rabotnicki maintains sixth position with 4-7 record. MZT Skopje at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Fersped-Rabotnicki are looking forward to face ABA Strumica (#8) on the road in the next round. MZT Skopje will play against the league's leader Feni Indistrija (#1) in Kavadarci and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
