Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Pall.Pozzuoli (4-4) won against on the road 10th ranked Alcamo (1-7) 88-74 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Pall.Pozzuoli. Alcamo managed to win third quarter 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by naturalized American guard Angela Zampella (170-78, college: St.Joseph's) who scored that evening 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Melissa Fazio (182-79, college: St.Bonaventure) supported her with 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by Jamaican power forward Vanessa Gidden (193-85, college: Hofstra) did not help to save the game for Alcamo. American guard Nicole Michael (188-87, college: Syracuse) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
