Regular Season Round 15: SISU - Horsens IC 81-83

A very close game took place in Copenhagen between Horsens IC and SISU. Eighth ranked Horsens IC (6-9) got a very close victory on the road over 5th ranked SISU (6-9). Horsens IC managed to escape with a 2-point win 83-81 in the fight for the fourth place. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was swingman Jonas Larsen (192-86) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. The former international power forward Hans Schur (203-83, college: Lynn) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Donald Rutherford (198-87, college: Catawba) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Jenard Harrison (203-84, college: Amer.Internat.) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four SISU players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Horsens IC. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated SISU. Horsens IC will meet league's second-placed Bakken in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. SISU will play against Falcon and hope to secure a win.
