Regular Season Round 5: Turk Telekom - Telekom Baskets 81-94

Telekom Baskets bowl Turk Telekom in Turkey in the most exciting group of EuroChallenge. The German team grabbed 3-2 record after 94:81 road win. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Turk Telekom. The game was mostly controlled by Telekom Baskets. Turk Telekom managed to win second period 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Zvonko Buljan who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Chris Ensminger chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Ali Karadeniz produced 27 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and guard Muratcan Guler added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Telekom Baskets maintains first place in Group G with 3-2 record, which they share with Karsiyaka. Turk Telekom share third place with Minsk-2006.
