Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Skopje: Torus Skopje (#2) and Vardar (#7). Torus Skopje (9-2) crushed visiting Vardar (3-8) by 16 points 84-68. Vardar was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 30-13 charge of Torus Skopje, which allowed them to win the game. American power forward Justin Reynolds (204-88, college: Texas A&M-CC) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Goran Markovski (195-92) accounted for 17 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Filip Kralevski (204-82) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds and guard Angel Tasevski (187-83) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Vardar in the defeat. Four Torus Skopje and five Vardar players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Torus Skopje maintains second place with 9-2 record having just three points less than leader Feni Indistrija. Vardar lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Torus Skopje's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena Lirija.
