The game had a very big importance for second-ranked River Andorra as it allowed them to take a leadership position. River Andorra defeated 7th ranked Las Rozas at home 76-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Las Rozas. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 27-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Uruguayan-Italian point guard Federico Bavosi (184-81) fired 20 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Austrian guard Anton Maresch (192-91) chipped in 18 points. River Andorra's coach Joan Penarroya used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Javier Salson (199-82, college: Bloomfield) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and center Jose Balmon (204-81) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. River Andorra have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Barca Regal II and Coruna. Newly promoted Las Rozas dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. Las Rozas will play next round against Feve Oviedo trying to get back on the winning streak. River Andorra will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Gandia Basquet in Valencia.
