Fenerbahce Ulker managed to secure a 9-point victory 70-61 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-61. Croatian guard Roko-Leni Ukic (196-84) stepped up and scored 12 points and 7 assists for the winners and the former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Umit Sonkol (206-82) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American center Brian Qvale (210-88, college: Montana) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Aliaga players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Fenerbahce Ulker. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Besiktas. Loser Aliaga dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Fenerbahce Ulker will face Olin Edirne (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aliaga will play against Mersin (#11) in Akdeniz.
