There was a change at the Basketligan leadership position after last games. Round 16 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Norrkoping Dolphins (10-5). They were defeated by fourth ranked 08 Stockholm (10-6) 79-74 on Sunday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Norrkoping Dolphins won fourth quarter 23-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 08 Stockholm made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Defending champion Norrkoping Dolphins dropped to the second place with five games lost. They share the position with LF Basket. They were replaced at the leadership position by Boras. Norrkoping Dolphins will play next round against Sundsvall Dragons trying to make it back to the top of the standings. 08 Stockholm will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Sodertalje Kings at home.
