We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eighth ranked Aalborg (6-9) defeated on the road 7th ranked Aabyhoj (6-10) 78-69. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Aabyhoj won fourth quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aalborg made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Aabyhoj turnovers. It was a very good performance for American point guard Ryan White (177-88, college: Texas St.) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!), 5 assists and 6 steals. The other American import forward Tony Bishop (201-89, college: Texas St.) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward D'Mario Curry (201-85, college: Lincoln Memorial) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and international guard Darko Jukic (199-90) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Aabyhoj. Four Aabyhoj players scored in double figures. Aalborg moved-up to fifth place. Aabyhoj lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Aalborg will play against Horsens IC (#7) in Horsens in the next round. Aabyhoj will play on the road against Falcon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
