A very interesting game took place in Tianjin. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 17th ranked TianJin Rongcheng (2-9) to fourteenth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (3-7) 107-104 on Wednesday evening. The guests were ahead by 10 points but lost the second period ending it with a 12-point deficit before their 36-21 run, which allowed them to win the game. 27 personal fouls committed by TianJin Rongcheng helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Lebanese power forward Jackson Vroman (208-81, college: Iowa St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. International swingman Li Yi (203-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 23 rebounds and Lebanese guard Rony Fahed (184-81) added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for TianJin Rongcheng. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. TianJin Rongcheng's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Jiangsu Dragons moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Shanghai S. and Foshan. TianJin Rongcheng lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Jiangsu Dragons' next round opponent will be Qingdao Double Star (#16) on the road. TianJin Rongcheng will play against the league's leader Beijing Ducks and will have a slim chance for a victory.
