There was no surprise when 8th ranked Vahostav-Zilina (5-13) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Handlova (9-10) 90-85 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 30-17 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Handlova forced 23 Vahostav-Zilina turnovers.
