Former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker scored 20 points to lead the Idaho Stampede to a 98-78 win over the visiting Canton Charge on Friday night. The Stampede put the game away by outscoring the Charge 29-17 in the fourth quarter. The Charge have dropped three straight, losing by a combined 61 points in those game. One common denominator has been sub-40 percent shooting from the floor and that continued. Canton hit just 35.9 percent of its shots, including going 6-of-22 on 3-pointers. The Charge also hit just 57.1 percent of their free throws. The Stampeded also hammered Canton on the glass, outrebounding the Charge 53-38. Reginald Larry grabbed 16 boards for Idaho and Will Foster had 10. The 35-year-old Walker also grabbed six rebounds and had three assist to lead a balanced Idaho attack. Five of his teammates scored 11 or more points, including former Syracuse star Eric Devendorf, who had 16. The Stampede have won three straight and four of their last five. T.J. Campbell scored 16 points to lead Canton, while Marcus Relphorde scored 15 and Antoine Agudio scored 12. The two teams meet again tonight at 9:30. The Charge also made another roster move Friday, signing guard-forward Trent Strickland.
