Second Stage Day 3: EGYPT - KUWAIT 79-63

Egypt won Group E of the Second Stage in Doha at the Pan Arab Games. The team needed 76:63 to take the first spot and advanced to the Semifinals. Egypt took the lead at the very beginning and reached 22-9 after the first period. Kuwait however replied with 18-10 to trail 5 points at the halftime. The third quarter was decisive as Egypt produced 32-19 to seal the victory. Amr El Gandy stepped up with 16 points and Ibrahim ElGamal netted 9. Moamen AbdouElLanin and Haytham Kamal delivered 8 points apiece. Abdulaziz Mohammad replied with 26 points in the losing effort and Nayef AlRashidi scored 12. Rashed AlRabah and Abdullah AlShammari notched 8 points each in defeat. Tomorrow Egypt will face Qatar in the Semifinal game. In another one Jordan will take on Tunisia.
