Regular Season Round 12: FS Debrecen - ZTE KK 74-84

ZTE KK's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after 11 consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Debrecen, where they defeated FS Debrecen (3-9) 84-74. FS Debrecen was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Chris Hines (203, college: Alabama, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import guard Bryquis Perine (190, college: Wisc.-Green Bay, agency: Court Side) who added 19 points and 4 steals during the contest. Four ZTE KK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Justin Ingram (185-85, college: Toledo) with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Imre Kovacs (201-83) scored 14 points. Defending champion maintains fourteenth position with 1-11 record. FS Debrecen at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Jaszberenyi. ZTE KK will play against higher ranked Szedeak (#9) in Szeged in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. FS Debrecen will have a break next round.
