Lebanon finished their Pan Arab Games on a high note. Ghassan Sarkis team overcame Iraq to claim the seventh overall position. Fadi El Khatib posted 30 points and 10 rebounds to lead the winners. The teams exchanged baskets throughout the opening quarter. The lead changed hands for several times before Iraq did not post a 20:18 advantage. Lebanon pulled ahead in the second quarter. They took a 41:36 halftime lead. The margin grew at double-digits in the third quarter. Lebanon entered the final frame up by 10 points 67:57. Lebanon triggered a 10:4 run early in the second quarter and sealed the deal. Elie ES\stephane posted 13 points, while Nadim Hawe finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for Lebona. Mohammed Mahdi answered with 19 points and 11 boards. Quaiba Al-Doore had 15 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
