Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked BC Kolin (14-5) beat at home 7th ranked NH Ostrava (9-10) 94-88. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 24-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. BC Kolin players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Chadwick-Farrell Barnes (190-83, college: New Orleans) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Richard Field (196-85, college: Mercyhurst) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Greek power forward Savvas Manousos (208-85) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American swingman Riley Luettgerodt (196-85, college: Hawaii, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for NH Ostrava in the defeat. Five BC Kolin and four NH Ostrava players scored in double figures. NH Ostrava's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. BC Kolin maintains fourth place with 14-5 record. NH Ostrava at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. BC Kolin will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NH Ostrava will play at home against BK Usti nad Labem (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
