Important game to mention about took place in Changchun. Thirteenth ranked Shandong Bulls (8-12) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 12th ranked Jilin Tigers (7-13) 100-99 in the game for the twelfth place. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 28-21 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Jilin Tigers were plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American swingman Alan Anderson (198-82, college: Michigan St., agency: Priority Sports) who saved his team from a defeat with 50 points (!!!) and 4 steals (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Center ZhenHua Cao (205-85) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Cartier Martin (201-84, college: Kansas St.) answered with 34 points (!!!) and 4 steals and Jordanian guard Osama Daghles (198-79, college: Midwestern St.) added 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Jilin Tigers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Shandong Bulls moved-up to twelfth place. Jilin Tigers lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Shandong Bulls will face higher ranked Liaoning Hunters (#7) in Yingkou in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jilin Tigers will play at home against Foshan (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
