Regular Season Round 21: Austin T. - Texas L. 108-93

If there is one team the Texas Legends have problems with, it has so far been their South Texas rivals. Yi Jianlian scored 17 points in his Legends debut, but it wasn't enough as the Legends lost 108-93 to the Toros in Austin. The Legends dropped to 5-11 on the season, with four of those losses coming to the Toros. Booker Woodfox also scored 17, while Sean Williams led the Legends with 19 in his first game since being sent down from the Mavericks. Chris Roberts, on the other hand, continued to struggle since becoming a starter with only six points. Anthony Vereen and Vance Cooksey were among the players moved to the bench, and they only had one point each. The Legends didn't have an answer for Justin Dentmon, who scored 31 for the Toros. ERic Dawson added 18 and Leo Lyons had 14. Texas only trailed 47-46 at halftime, but a 33-point outburst by the Toros in the third gave them breathing room.
