Regular Season Round 13: Hogsbo - Solna Branten 59-60

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Solna Branten (4-8) edged 7th ranked Hogsbo (4-9) in Goteborg 60-59 on Sunday. Hogsbo was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 12-10 charge of Solna Branten, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 Hogsbo turnovers. It was a very good performance for guard Anton Miller (180-91) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Joeffrey Masabe (-90) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Solna Branten players scored in double figures. Center Robert Isaksson (202-87) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Max Johansson added 16 points in the effort for Hogsbo. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Solna Branten moved-up to seventh place in South. Hogsbo lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Solna Branten will face league's second-placed Nassjo at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hogsbo will play against IK Eos (#12) in Lund.
