We should mention about the upset which took place in Siauliai, where higher ranked Triobet (13-12) lost to fifteenth ranked ABRO-Universitetas (7-18) in a road game 63-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Triobet. The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 22-13 Triobet's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 68-63 at the end of the game. Strangely Triobet outrebounded ABRO-Universitetas 45-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Triobet helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Julius Jucikas (205-89) nailed 31 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Nerijus Mika (191-89) accounted for 14 points. Forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (203-90) added 17 points respectively for Triobet in the defeat. Triobet's coach Kestutis Narusevicius tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. ABRO-Universitetas maintains fifteenth place with 7-18 record. Triobet at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 12 games lost. ABRO-Universitetas' next round opponent will be higher ranked S.Marciulionio (#14) in Vilnius and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
