Regular Season Round 29: Iowa E. - Tulsa 66ers 97-96

Marcus Lewis earned his 12th double-double of the season with a team-high 24 points and 14 rebounds and Jerome Dyson added 18 points and a game-high eight assists, but the Tulsa 66ers (10-10) fell short on the road against the Iowa Energy (14-5) by a 97-96 final Sunday evening inside the Wells Fargo Arena. The Energy, winners of the 2011 NBA D-League Championship, entered Sunday's contest leading the Eastern Conference. For the third consecutive game, the 66ers boasted a balanced scoring attack with six players in double figures, including Brady Morningstar with 19, Dwight Buycks with 13, Larry Owens with 12 and Robert Vaden with 10. Defensively, Tulsa hung tough by forcing 20 Energy turnovers and creating 10 steals. Owens paced the visiting squad with five thefts and added a season-high three blocked shots. Offensively, eight 66ers recorded assists to rack up 18 dishes. Leading the Energy was Mike Efevberha with a game-high 32 points. Curtis Stinson added eight points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
