Regular Season Round 14: Eagles - Eskilstuna 82-73

Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Eskilstuna (1-13) lost to top-ranked White Eagles (13-0) in Stockholm 73-82 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Eskilstuna won third quarter 24-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. White Eagles forced 26 Eskilstuna turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Serbian guard Aleksandar Perisic (201-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Joseph Taylor (203-85, college: Wyoming) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four White Eagles players scored in double figures. Forward Robert Norstrom (191-83) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Olov Ogren (180-86) added 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Eskilstuna. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. White Eagles have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position in North with 13-0 record. Eskilstuna lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 13 games lost. White Eagles will face Haga Haninge (#5) on the road in the next round. Eskilstuna will play against Taby Basket (#3).
