Regular Season Round 23: Inter Bratislava - Chomutov 89-74

An interesting game took place in Bratislava where higher ranked Levharti Chomutov (8-15) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Inter Bratislava (5-18) 89-74 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Mitar Trivunovic (196-77) who scored 28 points and 4 assists. Puerto Rican-American guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson) chipped in 25 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Patrick Pope (183-81, college: St.Augustine) produced 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Rob Lowery (188-87, college: Dayton) added 19 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Inter Bratislava maintains thirteenth place with 5-18 record. Newly promoted Levharti Chomutov keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Svitavy. Inter Bratislava will meet higher ranked BK Decin (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Levharti Chomutov will play against the league's second-placed BK Prostejov (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
