The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Huracanes won third quarter 18-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Huracanes outrebounded Fuerza Regia 52-31 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for forward Terrence Shannon (203-79, college: Elgin CC, agency: Paris Global Sports) who saved his team from a defeat with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Donta Smith (201-83, college: SE Illinois JC) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Elbert Fuqua (211-83, college: UTSA) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and power forward Robert Hornsby (196-82, college: Troy) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Huracanes.
