Very expected game when 17th ranked Foshan (6-18) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Fujian SBS XunXin (14-11) 110-100. Foshan was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 32-21 charge of Fujian SBS XunXin, which allowed them to win the game. They made 27-of-34 charity shots (79.4 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Foshan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Anthony Roberson (188-83, college: Florida) notched 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and the other American import center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) supported him with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Even 22 points and 5 rebounds by American forward Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) did not help to save the game for Foshan. Center Zhun Zheng (214-92) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Four Fujian SBS XunXin and five Foshan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fujian SBS XunXin moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Liaoning H. Foshan lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Fujian SBS XunXin's next round opponent will be Shanghai Sharks (#9) on the road. Foshan will play against Xinjiang Flying Tige (#10) in Urumqi.
