Regular Season Round 30: Austin T. - Canton C. 114-97

The Austin Toros improved to 9-1 at home with a 114-97 win over the Canton Charge at Cedar Park Center Wednesday night. The Charge hit their first seven shots of the game and jumped to an early 20-11 lead, but the Toros used an 18-6 run and led by three after the first quarter. The Toros continued the momentum in the second quarter, outscoring the visitors 35-25 to go up 64-51. In the second half, the Toros led by as many as 19 and finally winning by 17. Da'Sean Butler (6'7'-G/F-88, agency: KMG Sports Management, college: W.Virginia) scored a season-high 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Eric Dawson (6'10'-F-84, college: Midwestern St.) added his eleventh double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Leo Lyons added a double-double of his own with 15 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
