Very important is a home loss of second ranked Ford Burgos (13-7) against twelfth ranked CB Clavijo (9-11) on Friday night. Host Ford Burgos was defeated by CB Clavijo in a tough game in Burgos 68-75. It looked good early as Ford Burgos took an 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then CB Clavijo had a 24-13 second period charge getting the lead and Ford Burgos was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-75. Naturalized Brazilian forward Marcus Vinicius Toledo (203-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Daniel Lopez (188-82) scored 15 points. CB Clavijo moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Ford Burgos at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. CB Clavijo will play against higher ranked Menorca Basquet (#3) in Mahon in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
