CEZ Nymburk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to BK Pardubice's 42. They outrebounded BK Pardubice 38-20 including a 27-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American center Andrew Naymick (211-85, agency: Warren Sports International) who scored that evening 19 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and the other American import guard A.J. Canadian-Jamaican forward Corey Muirhead (198-83, college: W.Carolina) added 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CEZ Nymburk have an impressive 22-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 23-1 record. BK Pardubice at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. CEZ Nymburk will play against USK Praha (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. BK Pardubice will play against Levharti Chomutov and hopes to get back on the winning track.
