The game without a history. Halcones Rojos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan power forward Luis Bethelmy (200-86) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 9 rebounds. Venezuelan point guard Gregory Vargas (182-86) contributed with 19 points and 8 assists for the winners. Five Halcones Rojos players scored in double figures. American guard LeRoy Hickerson (196-82, college: Cumberlands) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Evan Brock (204-84, college: Alabama) added 6 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Pioneros. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
