Regular Season Round 35: Houston R. - New York K. 97-84

Chase Budinger came off the bench to score 19 points for the Houston Rockets in their 97-84 victory over the New York Knicks in a National Basketball Association contest. The Rockets (12-8), who have won nine of their past 10 games, are tied with the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks for first place in the Western Conference’s five-team Southwest Division. Reserve Goran Dragic had 16 points for the Rockets, who shot 49 percent from the floor last night compared with the Knicks, who connected on 38 percent of their field goal attempts at the Toyota Center in Houston. Jordan Hill had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Courtney Lee scored 14 points and Samuel Dalembert pulled down 14 rebounds. Amar’e Stoudemire scored 23 points and Tyson Chandler added 14 and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Knicks who lost their third straight game.
