We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 6th ranked Aalborg (7-13) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Horsens IC (8-13) 101-90. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Aalborg was better in second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsens IC dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Aalborg's 54. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Power forward Mike St.John (203-84, college: La Salle) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and forward Will Harris (198-86, college: Albany) accounted for 28 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Horsens IC moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Horsholm and Vaerlose. Aalborg lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Horsens IC's next round opponent will be Aabyhoj (#9) on the road. Aalborg will play against Horsholm.
