We should mention about the upset which took place in Dniprodzerzhynsk, where higher ranked Khimik (16-10) lost to thirteenth ranked DniproAzot (7-17) in a road game 78-84 on Saturday. Khimik trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-84 at the end of the game. DniproAzot made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. DniproAzot outrebounded Khimik 38-26 including 23 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was center Michael Dunigan (208-89, college: Oregon, agency: N.E.T.) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Mario Little (195-87, college: Kansas) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
