Very expected game in Barreiro where 9th ranked Barcelos (4-10) were crushed by fourth ranked Barreirense (9-5) 104-78 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Barreirense. Barcelos managed to win third quarter 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 33-of-42 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Barreirense forced 19 Barcelos turnovers and outrebounded them 36-21 including 25 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward David Jackson (201-88, college: Penn St.) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds.
