Rather predictable result in Tianjin where fourteenth ranked TianJin Rongcheng (10-17) defeated 16th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (7-19) 105-99 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning next two quarters and won the game by 6 points. TianJin Rongcheng made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. TianJin Rongcheng outrebounded Jiangsu Dragons 53-31 including a 25-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and forward GuiJun Xu (202-80) who added 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five TianJin Rongcheng players scored in double figures. TianJin Rongcheng's coach Paul Coughter used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American-Lebanese power forward Jackson Vroman (208-81, college: Iowa St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and international swingman Li Yi (203-85) scored 24 points. TianJin Rongcheng have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourteenth position with 10-17 record. Jiangsu Dragons lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 19 games lost. TianJin Rongcheng will face league's second-placed Beijing Ducks on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
