Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (12-7) beat on the road 8th ranked Licher Baeren (9-11) 88-72 on Friday. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 52-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Licher Baeren was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Florian Koch (197-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Canadian guard Stuart Turnbull (188-84) helped adding 23 points. Four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. American forward Tyrone Bradshaw (203-86, college: S.Indiana, agency: KMG Sports Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Blake Young (188-85, college: Kansas St.) scored 5 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dragons Rhoendorf maintains fifth place in Group South with 12-7 record. Loser Licher Baeren keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
