The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked CEZ Nymburk as it allowed them to take a leadership position in A1. CEZ Nymburk smashed bottom-ranked USK Praha at home 100-67. It was a key game for the top position in A1. The game without a history. CEZ Nymburk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to USK Praha's 24 and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded USK Praha 45-25 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Chester Simmons (198-82, college: Washington) stepped up and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners and swingman Michal Kremen (200-81) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Tomas Kyzlink (197-93) responded with 17 points and the former international center Stanislav Votroubek (212-81) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with BK Pardubice and BK Decin. USK Praha at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with BC Kolin and BK Prostejov. USK Praha will play next round against BC Kolin trying to get back on the winning streak. CEZ Nymburk will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked BK Prostejov at home.
