Rather expected game when 6th ranked Basket Slovanka MB (14-11) was crushed on the road by third ranked Kara Trutnov (16-7) 82-62 on Saturday. The game without a history. Kara Trutnov led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Center Lenka Vetrovcova (188-84) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Hana Snajdrova-Ziklova (183-80) chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Kara Trutnov players scored in double figures. Kara Trutnov's coach Martin Petrovicky used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Lenka Sipova (185-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Trinity Bursey (178, college: N.Carolina) scored 14 points. Kara Trutnov maintains third position in Group A1 with 16-7 record having eleven points less than leader USK Praha. Basket Slovanka MB lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 11 games lost. Kara Trutnov will face league's leader USK Praha on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Basket Slovanka MB will play against VS Praha (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
