Eighth-ranked AZS Koszalin (10-14) made lots of trouble for third ranked Energa Czarni (17-7) on Sunday. The visitors from Slupsk managed to secure only two-point victory 69-67. However their fans expected much easier game. AZS Koszalin trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 20-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 67-69 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was naturalized Lithuanian guard Mantas Cesnauskis (189-81) who scored 15 points. American point guard Stanley Burrell (190-84) chipped in 13 points. The former international center Rafal Bigus (215-76, college: Villanova) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and American guard J.J. Montgomery (196-82, college: Arkansas St.) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. AZS Koszalin's coach Andrej Urlep rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Energa Czarni moved-up to second place, which they share with Anwil and PGE Turow. AZS Koszalin lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Siarka Jezioro.
