Regular Season Round 6: Bank of Taiwan - Yulon Luxgen 68-72

There was no surprise when 7th ranked Bank of Taiwan (3-10) was defeated by third ranked Yulon Luxgen (9-5) 72-68 on Sunday. Yulon Luxgen took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-9. But Bank of Taiwan won second period 19-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Shih-Yuan Chou (188-83) who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St., agency: Hart Sports Mngm) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Chih-Chiang Hsu (194-82) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds and American power forward John Vaudreuil (203-85, college: Minn.-Duluth, agency: Warren Sports International) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Yulon Luxgen maintains third position with 9-5 record behind leader Pure Youth. Loser Bank of Taiwan stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Yulon Luxgen will face KKL (#5) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's leader Pure Youth.
