Ninth-ranked KFUM Jamtland (11-19) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked LF Basket (17-11) in Lulea on Tuesday. LF Basket managed to secure only two-point victory 81-79. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 20-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. International guard Christopher Ryan (196-90) stepped up and scored 21 points and 4 assists for the winners and American forward Marcus Relphorde (200-88, college: Colorado) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Johan Ronstrom (202-89) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for LF Basket. They moved-up to third place. KFUM Jamtland lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 19 games lost. LF Basket will meet Boras Basket (#6) on the road in the next round. KFUM Jamtland will play against Sundsvall Dragons and hope to secure a win.
